JSIX lil FRANK, ( UNIKIA TWO X ROMES FAIR LADY) 1999 Bay Stallion. This is now my reference sire. He was started on cattle as a 2 yr. old, and then calf roped, and heeled off of as a 4 yr. old. His colt crops are small in numbers sofar, but as they get to the public I look for things to change. He produces color when bred to color. This is due to all the Gray & Blacks that he has in his genetic back ground. He has the athletic ability, natural cow, conformation, that in my opinion is the outcross that the Performance Horse industry is profoundly in need of. He is producing the conformation,bone,size,and athletic ability. Also as a linebred Bert horse, he is out producing his sire Unikia Two, and his grand sire Roman Mac with out the loss of bone, conformation, athletic ability, and smarts. We produce some of the finest colts in this part of the country.I will still be Linebreeding in my breeding program and outcross as the opportunities arise. Unikia Two, 1992 Black Stallion, deceased. "Black Mac", was a project that I had thought about for quite a while, but it just had to be right. I bred Roman Mac to a full sister Roman Red Lady to get this cross, and most people that saw him or any of his 30 offspring will say that it worked. Most of his offspring have gone to the roping pens, with a couple cutters, or like me I have two of his daughters in my broodmare band. As excited as we were over his offspring, I can say that his grand get are going to excite people just as much.

Roman Mac, 1978 Gray Stallion, deceased. "Mac" was 15-1 hands weighed 1200 #, full of natural cow, athletic ability, conformation, and the brains to put it all to good use. He was started on cattle as a two yr. old. Won enough at cutting that I could say he had won an NCHA check. He did this as a 4yr. old. He then spent the next 17 yrs. earning his keep on the ranches that I worked or managed. We legged him up at the age of 21, and spent the summer reining with him winning 6 of 9 Sat. nite reinings plus an NRHA check. During his lifetime he produced 180 reg. foals, with 10 performance foals,and 10 CYR performance foals. These 180 foals some of which are no longer around because of age, were spread from coast to coast, and border to border, with some even going into Canada. His offspring were used at various events, cutting, roping, team penning, barrels, and probly some I haven't even mentioned. He is missed,but I will carry on this blood thru his daughters, and a grandson JSIX Lil Frank.

JSIX Ms Frank San, 2004 Bay filly( JSIX Lil Frank X Ms. Unikia San). This filly was also green broke(30 days), but due to an injury has been added to my broodmare band. Her pedigree is impeccble, being linebred Unikia, and being an own granddaughter of Mr. San Peppy. I hope that this filly is in foal to More Than Smart (Smart Little Lena X Hidas Pepermint) for a 2008 foal.

JSIX Franks Doll, 2004 Dun filly (JSIX Lil Frank X Skippers Frosty Cat). Filly has crosses to Harlan and Doc's Jack Frost. This filly is green broke (30 days). Broke out nice, but I have placed her in my broodmare band. In foal I hope to Jodies Bar Chic (Smart Chic Olena X Royal Jodie Bar) for a 2008 foal.

Macs Frosty Cat, Dun daughter of Roman Mac (Roman Mac X Skippers Frosty Cat). Green broke, and cat is as good way to describe this mares actions. Her first (2007) foal is a Dun ? could be a bay colt by IMA Bob Cat ( High Brow Cat X Maid for Success, an own daughter of Bob Acre Doc). Bred back to JSIX Lil Frank ( Unikia Two X Romes Fair Lady) for 2008.

Ms Peppy Mac, Blue Roan daughter of Roman Mac. (Roman Mac X Ms Chickasha Peppy, an own daughter of Mr. San Peppy). Halter broke is it, but she has everything ,breeding, color, conformation, and athletic ability. Her 2006 foal is a blue roan filly by Senor Antonio Remero (Remero X Rafter H Conchita). Her 2007 foal is a blue roan colt by JSIX Lil Frank (Unikia Two X Romes Fair Lady). Bred back to JSIX Lil Frank for a 2008 foal.

MJ Unikia Two Finale, As you can guess by the name this big black mare is the last offspring of Unikia Two(Unikia Two X Foxy Doc Poco). She has crosses to Sugar Bars, Leo, Orphan Drift, & Poco Bueno. Broke as a 2 yr. old and rode until she was 5, but never trained to any specific event. Her 1st (2007) foal is a black colt by IMA Bob Cat(High Brow Cat X Maid for Success, an own daughter of Bob Acre Doc). I bred this mare to More Than Smart( Smart Little Lena X Haids Pepermint) for a 2008 foal.

JSIX Macs Lil Darlin, Gray daughter of Roman Mac X Bills Darlin(an own daughter of Cutter Bill X Lizzie Breeze). First foal is a gray 2 yr. old filly by Jodies Bar Chic (Smart Chic Olena X Royal Jodie Bar). 2007 foal is a bay colt by JSIX Lil Frank ( Unikia Two X Romes Fair Lady). Green broke as a 2 yr. old, but never started.

LADY CABRA, Black, an own daughter of Unikia Two. She was green broke as a 2 yr. old, but unridden due to an injury. Her first foal was a black colt by Roman Mac, now a 3 yr. old.Her 2 yr. old is a bay filly by Poco Molasses Barz, an own grandson of Poco Bueno. She has a yearling bay filly by Freckles Cyclops ( Freckles Playboy X an own daughter of Mr. San Peppy). Her third foal is a 2007 bay colt by IMA Bob Cat (High Brow Cat X an own daughter of Bob Acre Doc). I bred this mare back to JSIX Little Frank for 2008 to try and increase my genetic pool of Unikia blood. The offspring from this mating will have six crosses to Unikia.

ROMAN LITA, probably my top producer. She is an own daughter of Roman Mac out of an own daughter of Doc Hickory with crosses to King, Jessie James, Poco Bueno, and Blackburn. She has produced five colts. The first was a grandson of Colonel Freckles thru Colonel Sal (Jimmy Orrells stallion). The second was a black colt by Roman Mac. The third a sorrel colt by Freckles Cyclops, an own son of Freckles Playboy that was out of an own daughter of Mr. San Peppy. The forth a sorrell colt out of Jodies Bar Chic, an own son of Smart Chic Olena, and Royal King on the bottom. The fifth is a sorrel colt byJSIX Lil Frank. She is in foal for 2008 to More Than Smart, an own son of Smart Little Lena out of Hidas Pepermint.

This mare was green broke as a 2yr. old, broke out the best, but since I am in the broodmare business thats as far as it went.

My name is Frank Clark. I raise Foundation Bred Quarter Horses in Dover, Arkansas. This is my project to get some information on myself and my horses out to the general public. In 1966 I started with one mare and grew to seventeen at one point. Due to age and health that number has been cut to nine at present. My main family of horses that I have been breeding are Unikia ( Grandson of BERT) with crosses to Macanudo & Old Sorrel. Over the years I have added outcross blood through other stallions that included TwoEyed Jack, Kings Pistol, King, Doc Hickory, Cutter Bill, Sugar Bars, Mr. San Peppy, Harlan, Smart Peppy Doc, Freckles Playboy, Highbrow Cat, and Smart Little Lena.

I now have a set of Broodmares that are four generations UNIKIA, with some intense inbreeding as you will be able to see in future postings. I think broodmares are the basis for any successful breeding program, and I do believe that my set of mares are as good as you might find. At this point I must make it clear that these broodmares have no show records.

In 1978 I raised my first stallion Roman Mac (Gray), an own son of UNIKIA out of a granddaughter of Macanudo. He became an NCHA money earner, and a NRHA money earner at age 21. He severed as my primary stallion until 2005. My replacement for "MAC" was a double bred/linebred Black Stallion, Unikia Two, this was the accumulation of breeding of full brother to full sister mating. He went on to become an NCHA money earner and sire 30 individuals before his untimely death in 2000. My last stallion is JSIX Lil Frank (Bay). He was sired by Unikia Two and out of a 3/4 sister to Roman Mac. He has training at calf roping and heeling.
